Donald Joseph Qualls also known as DJ Qualls in America is an American actor and producer. Alongside his Road Trip role, he also appeared in The New Guy Hustle & Flow and The Core. He also has appeared on over 22 shows, like Breaking Bad Supernatural and Scrubs. Qualls has fought Hodgkin's lymphoma from the time he was 14 years old. The cancer relapsed two years later. The treatment at an early age had an adverse effect on the body. It hindered his development. When he started performing, financial stability was the goal. He had experienced the poverty of his youth. In an interview, he stated that if I do not have money security or feel out of control in the world, I'll be unhappy. He also reflects on his own childhood and wants to do something about the issue of the bullying. Cruelty breaks my heart he says. On and off film, DJ's character would love to be a father. However, he acknowledges that directors don't cast me in those roles. In the future, he hopes to become father to children.
