Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder, professionally Winona Ryder was born on Winona Minnesota. Her name was chosen by her parents in honor of the town where she was raised in. Michel Horowitz' father was an editor and writer, as were Cynthia Palmer and her mother. Ryder is a self-described Jewish, is descended from Ryder's Jewish father. Ryder is the younger sister of Uria and half-siblings Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder along with her whole family moved to California's Mendocino County in the year 2000, when Ryder was seven. In those days, there were no electric lights. Ryder was a consummate reader and spent her time reading books as she had no television. Ryder began to take acting classes at the American Conservatory Theatre in 1983, when she was twelve years old. She landed her debut role on the big screen in 1986, at the age of 15 older. Ryder was bullied at her high school. She thought that by becoming an actor her behaviour was going to be corrected. Unfortunately that didn't come to be. However, it didn't stop her from pursuing dreams. It was 1988 in the year Tim Burton released Beetlejuice that was her breakthrough. Ryder went on to have success in roles. He was nominated for two Academy Awards were nominated, one of which was for The Age of Innocence (1996).
