Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine has a unique style which combines R&B with gospel, soul music, and R&B. Sunshine has appeared on Broadway and at the Democratic National Convention and in the European clubs and festivals. Sunshine has the name Denise White. She is originally from Chester Pennsylvania, where she began her music career playing the piano and singing in church. Her musical career began in Atlanta at Spellman College. The Fighting Temptations The first single featuring her voice was called Stalk You A house 12 released exclusively in Japan It was later remixed by numerous producers and is an essential part of her live sets. The voice of hers was featured on the soundtrack for The Fighting Temptations. The year 2005 saw Tyler Perry hired her as his primary keyboardist for his stage play Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday was the Grammy and Tony Award winner who approached her in 2007 about serving as the director of chorus for Dreamgirls the stage show in Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine received national attention through her performances on four consecutive days during 2008's Democratic National Convention. She was invited to perform at President Barack Obama's inaugural in 2009.
