Annika Charles Sorenstam was an Swedish professional golfer. Her name is considered to be one of the best female golfers ever. She was the golfer who had the most international wins before she retired from the game at final season of 2008. Annika is a talented golfer from her childhood times. She competed in tennis and soccer on the national stage when she was a junior. Her family moved to Sweden to allow her to take up professional tennis. In 1994, she qualified for the LPGA Final Tournament and won the first-ever professional ALPG Tour Australia. She made the top three finishes and was awarded the LPGA rookie of the year award. Annika's breakout came in the year 1995 when she won at The US Women Open LPGA tour. She was the sole non-American to win the Vare trophy. Annika was also on the number one money list. The team decided to not play in 2008. On that night she even throw the very first pitch of baseball in the contest. Her most recent win came in the Suzhou Taihu ladies' open playoff. Ladies European Tour, Ladies Asian Tour took over the sponsorship of the event.
